The chatter was mediocre drivel at best except for the routine about a mad man versus and comedian which was good. Seinfled is very funny but I think he's trying too hard with the show. Let the cars do the talking.

100% agreed. Seriously had more funny moments on bicycle rides. The Healey was absolutely lovely.

Good stuff. He's right that fear is funny..when somebody else feels it. I remember as a kid sliding around in my truck in my small southern town and laughing to the point of not breathing at the comments and actions of my passengers. The Healy is very nice.

The Brian Regan one looks like it is going to be funny as well! I wonder if we will ever see him driving a Porsche in any of his videos and if so, which one?

Nice idea, but very lacklustre comedy so far IMO.

I detected a touch of mirth and folly when Seinfeld was explaining that the AH was English:

Gervais: "Is it?"
Seinfeld (sarcastically) "Is it? Not really into cars, eh?"

(And of course, the moment is totally lost in translation)

Other than that, the host and guest find each other hilarious while the audience is left to speculate on what they missed. And, for my taste a little too much room between the tire and the wheelwell in the AH, but because it's Seinfeld, I will make the assumption that the car is correct.

The forced laughter was even worse with Larry David, but I found the VW to be worth the few minutes spent viewing. I've never seen semaphores deployed in anger, only seen pictures.

Exquisite.

Yes the wheel well gap is correct. This car was a 3000 Series III which had the raised suspension to comply with headlight rules IIRC. The Series II and earlier models of big Healey were quite a bit lower.

Not to start anything, but I thought Jay Leno was the only celebrity car guy that says "Porsh". I have to admit, I'm surprised Seinfeld says it like that...
