I don't ask women when they are due, for fear that they might not actually be pregnant.

BTDT with best of intentions...was informed otherwise and made to feel like a heel...significantly less than 40 weeks later, guess who gave birth? Some chicks love drama at any expense.

Oh man. This one is great! My boss has made this mistake sooo many times. I crack up every time.

My last walk-in movie had some guy in a chariot race.

Think I'm a lot like McLovin" and Tim Hancock, but not totally....

I DON'T:

Have Hero's at my old age......

Never owned an automatic or had a car/trk from the Big 4 since 1968..

Never spent a day since 1965 without owning more than one motorcycle...Sometimes up to 22 at one time.....

My old bass did the same thing in the middle of a long elevator ride. That really wasn't fair when there's nowhere to go before you split a gut!

Celebrities - truly don't understand the interest in celebrities.

What a bunch of narrow minded pains in the asses. Thank God I have friends who, at elevated ages, are still about living.

Well, yes, that's most folks on OT, but consider the thread is about what people *do not do.*

oilcan 09-11-2012 01:24 PM

I wanted to revisit the thread because I thought I may have been a bit too judgemental. My review results in that I wasn't judgemental enough. "I don't wear shorts below my knees". Really? Who does that as an adult anyhow? It was a direct reflection of minority dress. I'm sure this guy thought he was among friends & all knew the reference. I, too, don't appreciate that part of modern culture- but there it is. Accept it & move on.

Fun topic.

I never wear sunglasses.

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...leys/shake.gif No, no, no!!!

As a concerned fellow Pelican and Optometrist, wearing sunglasses outdoors, even on overcast days, is probably one of the best ways of preventing the development of age related eye disease, especially "wet" Age Related Macular Degeneration (ARMD). I have many patients that have gone on to develop ARMD and, believe me, it is Not Fun!.....it can be very debilitating and does seriously affect quality of life especially in the "golden years".

So my $0.02 to all fellow Pelicans, especially to those living in a very sunny climate (CA, AZ, HI, NV, etc.) and also if you spend a great deal of time outdoors...around water, snow.....

Just thought I'd pass that on!

Alex

So, if this gang followed all of the other sheeple out there then they'd be broadminded? I'm confused.

I see the HUGE shorts that go below the knee has little to do with race and mostly is age. Like wearing a baseball cap backwards. That is just stupid. I never see 40+ year old with a hat on backwards or shorts 10 times too big.

I don't wear sunscreen as much as I should and I don't watch what I eat like I know I should.
