Blackberry 10
After watching the BB 10 launch yesterday I was totally blown away with the OS, this coming from an avid Mac guy. After almost running the company into the ground (still could be) they finally did something right.
I have to say after using an IPhone and playing with Windows 8 and Android I have to say this OS looks better than all of them. I think it will be a beotch for administrators due to a neat function of being able to switch from a business and personal profile on the phone itself, but that's yet to be seen. The stock started upwards, then dropped like a rock as people sold off their stock - figures. We'll see how the sales go but I think RIM (now called Blackberry) will do in the market. As a Canadian I am glad to see Blackberry finally got one product right...

With lots of companies (including mine) now allowing employees access to company email via their own personal iPhone or Android devices, I really wonder if Blackberry's biggest advantage is now gone. I keep my work issued Blackberry Bold because I prefer the real keyboard for typing longer messages over a touch screen. Looks like the new BB10 is touch screen, so I would have no motivation to use one over my personal iPhone.

They missed it here. Instead of trying to compete with Android, they should have collaborated. Imagine a BB branded Android unit with a keyboard. All of the underlying function of Android and the market, all of the advantages of a BlackBerry.
Buy on speculation, sell on news. Sell.

James,
The OS is better than Android (at least what I saw). Their bread and butter is corporations, so they better make it enticing for companies to trade up.

I'll take it simply because I refuse to pay for a phone that my company gets to use for free. I've never paid for a "cell phone" for work since the darn things were invented and I don't want to start now.

My only experience with Android is my wife's phone, which is 2 years old, and hasn't had the os updated at all. But Android is clunky. Nowhere near as smooth as iOS, and from all the reports I've read, the new BB10 OS will blow them both away.
I've got an iPhone 4 and can't stand a lot of its features. I'm waiting for the real-keyboard BB10 (which is set to launch late February). I'll be first in line once that's released. Goodbye iPhone, I won't miss you.
