READ the rulebook very carefully.

NOTE how many points for each change or upgrade.

Hey Saucy, was it a red metallic G8 with a gray haired guy driving? I have a friend with one.

Nah, just plain bright red, young kid driving.

Actually initially thought it was a guy I knew bc he was heckling me so bad.

You should probably take it to a real mechanic. That cool collar mod was supposed to go on the oil filter, not the fuel injection.

LOL...it was a heavily modded E250.....left billowing black smoke like an unlimited tractor puller.

To a certain degree, isn't that as much (or more) a reflection of the drivers, as compared to the specific vehicles involved?

What did you expect? You post a bone-head story about racing on a street to a bunch of Porsche enthusiasts who most likely have track experience, and you expect us to praise your stupid stunt?

Really?

In my well-set up 944, I've passed Vettes, 911 Cup cars, Mustang Cobras and all sorts of Caymans, 911's, and other assorted machinery. All on the track. Not a big deal -- it's all about driver experience, tires, car setup, and balls.

Last thing I was looking for was praise

I simply posted because I was absolutely floored that my car kept up....looking for other/similar stories of encounters of the like.

You're simply on the wrong forum, no offense.
You might try just about any other Porsche forum, or maybe VW Vortex. They love to compare penises there.

Not offended at all.

Looks like I should have kept my trap shut, this is the best forum I've ever been on.

Everyone is very honest and helpful....clearly honest

The reason I sold my last car was because I was sick of the "comparing penises" (lol) thing.

I literally chose to purchase my '78 SC over a 408ci '02 Z06 vette...
