mac Finder question

Anybody know how to see a list of file names and also see the folder (sub-dir) each one is in?

This important information is trivial to reveal on Windows but difficult on Apple's mac (OS-X).

Alternatively, is there some 3rd part file utility I can use (I already added X-Finder).


I am also looking for a utility (or a way to use Finder) to show duplicate files on the machine (and only duplicate file names, not every file with every file).

In View Menu select Show Path Bar.

Recursive path is shown at the bottom of the finder window.

To find duplicates why not just use spotlight, that's what it does, find things.

I want to look at a column with filenames in it, a column with dates in it and a column with the location folder (sub-dir or path).



on the 2nd question, I want to see all dupl. filenames on the machine, nut search for one name at a time (which I may not know anyway).
