I'm closely related to me!

Maybe I'm jaded because I was born in So Cal and have been around "famous" people my whole life... don't get the whole love/hate thing that goes with celebrities... they are just people to me... some are nice, some not so much.

Somewhere there is a picture of grandma hanging out with J.C. Penny, dammit grandma you couldn't make a move on J.C.! I could be retired by now! She also claimed to have ridden on a stagecoach with wild Bill "he drank a bit" she would say.

I have two cousins in films. Christopher Serrone, he played the young Henry Hill in Goodfellas, and Frank Serrone, a porn star.

I'm very proud of Frank's work, but the kid was so so.;)

I have a good buddy who, in his late 30's, still looks just like that young Henry Hill. The resemblence is uncanny.

I have two uncles that where WWII heroes. Both lived a long and good life. It was not until they where entering their twilight years did they share their experiences.
I also knew Bruce Winters . As in the movie The Band of Brothers.

I doubt anyone will remember but the guy that conceived and marketed the patent drug "Hadacol" back in the 40-50's, Dudley Leblanc, took it from small town Louisana to nationwide, got rich and famous then lost it all. the only way I know he was kin is while looking a his picture in a book, I told my mother ths guy looks like he could be my grandmother's brother. turns out he was first cousin. some of you older guys mght remember the the tv ads, songs, traveling shows/ hollywood stars. pretty big deal back in the day.

Does being related to Sir Francis Drake count?
