Female Halloween Costumes. Being Slutty prevails. For ages 7 and up!-

Anyone ever notice how advertising concerning Female Halloween costumes are the majority by far Slutty.

This begins at kiddies to the Adults.

What the heck is it with that?!

Even the nose pickers are being posed in Flyers as little tramps.

What ever happened to dressing up like an evil witch or skeleton or Zombie or whatever?

Why is it on the one day a year that allows the public to Masquerade not even one, as far as I remember can be something ugly, scary ; grotesque?...maybe fun?
Why is that?

My 5 year old daughter is a witch, and not a slutty one. Adult female costumes do tend to have that theme, each is a slutty ________ costume. Not a complaint, mind you.

When my son was in middle school, I was amazed at the "lack of decorum" displayed by the girls of his school at the annual spook alley. Where are those girls' parents?

Happy my 12yo daughter's dressing up as Katniss from The Hunger Games. She'll be toting a very nice recurve bow and a quiver full of arrows.

Due to skimpy costumes on display I don't even like going into the Halloween stores with my daughter!

When I was five, I was Gene Simmons for Halloween. You should see the scene on M St. in Georgetown on Halloween. It's ridiculous. The girls are definitely looking to look baaaaad.

Halloween, the holiday for closet sluts and gays.

Instead of that BS holiday, we attend (and volunteer at) a fall festival that doesn't encourage moral shortcomings or pagan rituals.

Its a real challenge when you have young daughters. Some parents get it, others don't. I was shocked last year by some of the costumes the other girls wore to school for Halloween. We're talking 11-year old girls. Then again, seeing as how some of their mother's dress, I am not surprised. Some Moms live vicariously through their daughters. In hindsight, not much different than with some Dads and their sons in sports. Oh well....

My kids' Catholic school has Halloween parties, lets the little kids wear costumes to school, and has an annual trunk-or-treat party in the lot where the kids go car to car. And people call us uptight?!

Do you know the origin of this and other holidays?

Knowing the truth doesn't make one a witness...

Actually yes I do, my comment was not meant in a derogatory manner. My comment was based on my own experiences with people who make the comment Sammy did.

Every kid I grew up with and everyone I knew in multiple states saw Halloween as nothing more as an excuse to go door to door in a costume and get candy. Not one of us ever thought the ghosts, goblins, witches or skeletons were real. Not one of us were closet sluts or gay.

Just the "Leave it to Beaver" kids having fun.
