A city police officer dreamed up plots to kidnap, torture, cook and eat at least 100 women whose photos, names and addresses he pulled from a confidential law enforcement database, authorities said Thursday.

Gilbert Valle's fantasies about cannibalizing women — in one, he said he hoped to "cook her over low heat, keep her alive as long as possible" — were retrieved in a trail of emails, computer files and instant messages in online fetish chat rooms, and authorities said he was arrested because he was taking steps to carry them out.

An "attempted" crime requires something more than mere thought or planning, there must be an action. Entering into an agreement with another person to sell a particular woman's body probably qualifies.

Interesting case from the law perspective. Can you get someone convicted on intent / plans? Especially in an area where phantasy / role play are very common with no harm done in most all cases?

When trying to catch wannabe terrorists, the FBI usually sets them up to the point when they pull the trigger = dial their cell phone to blow up what they think is a bomb. That's when the cuffs are closed on them. Pretty clear situation there, but how about this guy?

I agree with Paul, he will get a fantastic lawyer, at least 2 weeks' paid vacation and if anything forced early retirement or medical discharge with bennies and full pension.

Assuming you kidnap cook and dress out 100 women. If you look at the cow thread, the guy selling seems to think you would get about 50% of the weight of the chick in meat.

Assuming 130 pound women, thats like 6500 pounds of meat.

163 lbs X 100 / .5 = 8150 lbs

If you do the math further @ 1 lbs of "woman" per meal is 3 lbs per day X 365 days = 1095 lbs

He would have enough "woman" for 7.44 years of meals.

Think he might get tired of them no matter how they were cooked.

I would like to resond with some sense of humor....you know the whole 50,000 battered women and I've been eating mine plain this whole time or something. However, this guy is one sick Fuch and should be eliminated as a risk. What has to short circuit in your brain to even make these kind of connections??
