computer virus?
Since I have more time now that I'm not working for a living thanks to an economy that can't seem to afford more satellites, I've taken on the task of removing my daughter's old files from her old computer. Now this computer (Dell 4550, Win XP) was put away with a virus of which I wasn't aware. I can get it to boot in SAFE mode, but that's about it. When I let it boot normal I get this screen message as it shuts down.
![]() I'm hoping the brain trust here will recognize a particular virus trait so I know what I'm fighting. Then I'll need to figure out a way to make a CD that I can scan the computer with. I'm just glad I didn't remove the drive and install it in my old box as a slave as I THINK that might have infected that computer too. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

That is BSOD - most likely a driver issue - boot in safe mode and remove any of the more recent updates or drivers and then reboot and see where you are
quick search says ar5211.sys relates to a wireless nic
