I'm fine with that. If I hadn't bought five numbers, I wouldn't have spent some of the last two days dreaming about what I'd do with the money. It was $10 well spent for me. I fully expected to lose and can easily afford it.

Gotta play to win. I see it as a cheap occasional thrill. Probably spent about $25 on lotto tickets in my entire life.

I've read that it varies from state to state as to whether or not you can remain anonymous. However in every state you can, and should, have the jackpot claimed by a trust for tax and liability reasons.*


* I'm not a tax person - this is just what I read.

AZ and MO require the winner to be named publicly. I don't know if that means you can have a trust claim the prize and a lawyer representing the trust use his or the trust's name. But it probably wouldn't be too hard to track down the winner if there are any real journalists left who wanted to do so.
