What is your favorite off the shelf BBQ sauce

I picked up some off brand on sale at the supermarket and, blech!

My parents always had Chris & Pitts on the shelf so from a baby on that is what I considered BBQ sauce. (no comment on the restaurant).

Yes, I know... you can make your own... however in a rush of if you are just feeling lazy what do you grab off the shelf?

Thanks in advance.

Bull's eye. original

if you have to doctor it up..add some ketchup, red wine vinegar, some mustard...

in it's stock form, it is too much on the sweet side.

Yup.

Goes back to my "OBD Theory" - hte Old Black Dude Theory.

If it is related to BBQ or Sausage, if it is named after or has a picture of an old black dude on the jar/bottle/package, then it is probably pretty good.

Especially if it is a skinny old guy that is about a buck forty, and his woman is pushing 300

Original bull's eye is not bad, no corn syrup. I like Stubb's, there was a store brand in Texas that was pretty good.

Only thing I ever use BBQ sauce for is pulled pork.

they also have the recipe for bullseye. i like it because EVERYONE sells it. our local drugstore CVS has it. right next to the pork-n-beans..coincidence? i think not!

Bone Suckin' Hot barbecue sauce. Yumm. I serve my ribs dry, with sauce on the side if anyone wants. Chicken, while on the grill, gets basted with it.
For pulled pork, I use Guy Fieri's Carolina #6, which is a great vinegar based sauce.

Lee & Perrins used to make a Good BBQ sauce.

Bulleye is good, some of the different varieties of Sweet Babies are pretty good. As of late I tend more to the Texas style vinegar rather than the sweet.
