Our daughter would have been Shelby, but the dog we had long before she was born already had that name.

I work with a young lady named Venturi. I think thats cool! Also meet a guy the other day named Tower, not automotive, but kinda cool.
I have a cousin who's name is Jeep......find it kinda weird.

if you get the wife another dog, call it RUF

How's about Aston (as in Martin) You could pronounce it Austin or Shelby for a girl. Both great car names that have alot of history.

My other goto would be Ricky Bobby (insert last name here), or Danica (insert last name here).

if it's a girl,, all the really good stripper names are taken (porsche, lexus, mercedes).. so unless you want her on the pole I suggest avoiding them..
How about Viper ? that should keep the boys away for a while!!

I always thought Dallara would be a pretty name for a girl.

I always thought having a son named Dodge or Ford would be pretty cool, stay away from Datson. Honda would be a cool name as well.

If you were a drummer, a son named Ludwig or Gretsch would be cool or a daughter named Tama or Pearl!

Just name him Seven and be done with it!

BTW - I named our fisrt daughter Morgan and very fitting as well. She is exceedingly beautiful, requires expert care and handling, tempermental to a fault and very expensive to keep happy....

my cousin Frodo has some anger management issues...just sayin.

All the suggestions are dated and entrenched in the previous century...

TESLA can be a boy or girls name (call a girl "Tess" as a nickname).

Hey...maybe "VOLT" if ya don't like the kid?:D

Thanks for all of the suggestions guys. I do really appreciate it. I think my mind is pretty well made up now.

I really like Cam and Cooper for boys' names, but my wife is pretty set on naming the kid after me. So I guess he'll be stuck with my name, Kirk Roland Bristol II, if it's a boy.

For a girl, the name Morgan really keeps sticking with me. I just think that Morgan Bristol sounds really cool. It's a normal name, even a pretty name, with some hidden meaning. I still like Lotus for a middle name. It is a flower after all and would be appropriate for a girl. Maybe Porsche for a middle name. I'm still up in the air on that and will wait just a bit. We'll know the sex here in a few weeks and then I can decide if I need to work on a girls name more or not.

Thanks again, really some helpful suggestions.

Kirk
