Son of a beotch, my 7 year old son just found all his x mas presents.

And he believes in Santa Claus too!. I'm soo pissed . I wanted to leave all his stuff up at my shop. She was worried it would get stolen. So she hides them in her closet, and bam, not even 24 hours after she put them there, security has been breached.
She did not believe in Santa Growing up, she thinks it is corny. I did, and I remember thinking how magical it was that the fatman in the red suit was bringing me gifts.
I was just telling her last night, that we will be lucky to get another year out of him believing in Santa Claus. Oh well.
How old were you when you found out?

I was around his age when I realized it had to be fake. At least it wasn't spoiled at an age like 4-5 years, though. Like you said, he probably would have only believed for about another year or so...

I was about 6 or 7 when I went on a hunt for presents. I found them in the garage, in the rumble seat of my dad's 30 Model A cabriolet. Wow...cool stuff.
Then on xmas morning, there they all were, with gift tags from "Santa". Also presents from "Mom & Dad", "Grandma & Grandpa", etc.
So much for that Santa thing.

Our kids waffle on the issue. I'm sure my older boy (9) tells his friends he doesn't believe, but I know he's not sure and still wants to believe. My 7 year old is all in. Heck, they both wonder how that damn elf keeps moving off the shelf. Then again, maybe I have stupid kids. Bummer that he found out like this though.

In kindergarten I carpooled with a bunch of Jewish kids, so only 5 years old. I then told my cousin who was 4. My mom still reminds me how pissed her sister was with me.

My wife told our youngest last year. She was 10, but mostly knew.

I might've been one of those kids.

My wife tries to perpetuate the myth (I wisely stay silent), but I don't think my 7-year-old is buying it. He's pretty canny. Our 3-year-old just goes bonkers at the sight of Christmas lights; I don't think she cares whether there's a Santa or not. Last night she stuck her head deep into the Christmas tree, inhaled deeply, then gave it a big hug and a kiss.

My oldest went to about 12. On the waffling years, I simply asked him, " are you willing to take the chance and not get any presents at all if you are willing to say you dont believe in Santa?"

He always thought about it, and then said no way!.. Lol

The worst part is that he's seen all his presents. Kind of ruins the whole x-mas morning anticipation/thrill that I remember as a kid.

I recall getting in a heap of trouble when I was 6 because I convinced the neighbor girl he wasn't real. Perhaps he's trying to milk you for another haul. I don't believe my boy was drinking the santa koolaid at 7, school kills it.

That might be the cutest thing I have read in a long time. So cute.

I remember when I was eight, my sisters and I found all of the presents in the closet as well. Dude! Not the closet. It's the first place kids look. I was kinda getting to that stage where I didn't believe but wanted to. Thing that sucked was my two little sisters were with me and my older sister so we kinda ruined it for them. Bad sisters. But we actually put all the presents back and pretended to still believe for the "parents' sake". Looking back now, that was pretty funny of us. And it was a big present too... Atari.
