Anyone know of a etailer that actually has 16gb iPad minis to ship?

Title says it all. Looking to buy 2 but it appears no one actually has any. I know some of this is marketing "genius" but hey...someone has to have em

Around here only the 64s seem to actually exist (how convenient )

And yes these need to be in my hands by Christmas so the "1 week" ship time from Apple does not work. The Apple stores tell ya to call/stop by every day "as we just don't know".

So on a longshot...anyone know of a hidden oasis that actually has any of these unicorns?

Don't know where you can find one.

And it's true, the stores are not alerted to how much inventory they will receive.

One thing you can do while searching is go to apple.com, put what you want into your cart.

During the checkout process there is an option to pick up in store.

Hit that and it will open a window, enter your zip and it will show you what stores have inventory.

Right now none will.

The inventory gets updated at 10 pm your local time zone.

Keep the item in your cart.

You need to hit the cart and do a store search at 10 on the button, if you delay anything that is available will be gone within a minute.

If you see something buy it, don't hesitate. Have your CC ready.

If you can get thru the process and get a successful buy then it's yours, guaranteed.

I just bought 6 x iphone 5, 64GB with 4G. They shipped direct from China. The ipads were were able to score from the Apple Stores. Just be there 1st thing in the morning when they open.

If you find one online you need to buy it online and pick up in store.

Once you complete the purchase the inventory is sold and you can take your time picking it up.

Think about why you don't want the 64GB model, and remember almost everyone feels the same way. With every iDevice, the 16GB sell out and the 64GB models linger - slow sales of the expensive versions is the chief reason Apple cites for not ramping up to 128GB (rather than, say, the fact they're overpriced!). I think MacLife magazine once wrote the 64GB models are only 10-15% of sales

For the iPad or the mini, I wouldn't get anything but the 64GB. The space for movies is great. for the iphone 32gb seems to be the sweet spot to hold all my music.

That's very generous of you, thx. That being said we've decided to go with some iPad2's. Same processor, same screen tech, bigger....$275 each refurb.

Best I can tell Siri is the biggest upgrade from the 2 on the mini.
