Being the founder of Griot's Garage car care products, you might expect the impeccable organization and cleanliness but it's the car collection that may be the most impressive part. Lots of Porsches and amazing race cars. I couldn't figure out how to embed the video from Vimeo. Is it possible?

Amazing collection. A bit over-restored for me but this probably makes sense given the business he is in. Speaking of which there must be a much higher margin in selling car care products than I would ever have imagined!

Less talk and more cars would have made it better for me.

So that's why all that crap he sells cost so much.

abides.

His markups are pretty crazy, especially on the plastic made-in-china crap like their buffers.

I've taken a tour of his personal garage. It is the Taj Mahal of garages and can probably fit over a dozen cars. When he designed it, Griot started with the garage and built his house around it. It has every tool/cabinet/feature you would ever want to store and work on cars. He supposedly built it so that he could spend more time with his sons, who use the garage frequently to work on their cars with their friends. At over 2500 sq feet, it is impressive for sure.

Not sure on the mark up part but the buffers are re-labeled Porter Cable units
