That is some intensive work involved in making that beautiful knife and sheath....I wish I had the time, patience and knowledge to do that.

I am a Damascus fan myself. If you read my recent thread about losing my mentor, Damascus forging was one of the things he taught me to do.
I am not, however, a fan of the Herculean effort it takes to make that stuff by hand!

Beatiful.
Great hobby if you live in the arctic circle and are shut down for 6 months out of the year. I hope to live a long life. Trying some arts and crafts like these later in life, when I have more time. I think they may use that power hammer you see used only once a lot more when the camera isn't there.  G |
