I've finally seen a few of these around town. In traffic from the front it looks exotic, very Ferrari-like. From the side it's much as I expected from the pictures. The one I saw today must have been a base model, because it had the usual GM massive fender gaps and too small wheels. But from the back, holy hell it is FUGLY. Even worse than I expected from the pictures. WTF were they thinking with those overdone tail lights? It looks like a ricer gone OEM. Overall I think the C6 Z06 or ZR1 is a dramatically more appealing car.

I like the C7 Z07

I've seen them on the street. I think they look great....until you get around back.

just to be clear -- you're talking about a car, and not a woman, right??

I saw one on the road the other night, dark grey convertible. Looked good from the side and like a Ferrari coming at me in the dark. I'm not crazy about the LED look on any of those cars.
I'm sure not seeing many of them on the street here and L.A. is a car show. When the 991 came out, they were instantly everywhere. |

Most cars made in Detroit back then had poor handling. My brother's '57 Chevy drove like crap in anything other than a straight line. When I was growing up, most of us were of the drag racing mindset.
That Corvette is still pretty. |
At this point, most owners of classic (and valuable) Corvettes probably don't drive them much anyway. Beautiful cars.

My father still has his 1968 Stingray that he purchased new in 1968. 327-cid 300-hp V-8 with a manual transmission. It has the original engine and transmission (both never rebuilt), and is on the third clutch at 350,000 miles.
He had all the rust removed off the undercarriage and the car repainted about 10 years ago so it looks pretty good. I want to redo the interior (stock) as it all-original and is pretty ratty. The car drives well and is a lot of fun. I really like the new Corvette except for the extra vents, the rear tail lights and the odd steering wheel. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1389887577.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1389887599.jpg |
