2013 Audi A4

Thinking it's time to replace the wife's 06 Acura TL, was leaning toward the Acura TSX until I sat in the Audi A4.

Anybody have any thoughts to share??

I've got the previous generation, and have been in the 2013. I love the interiors, it kicks ass in the snow, and the car has been quite reliable thus far.

With that being said, I still preferred driving (as opposed to living with) my mom's similarly aged BMW. The bimmer seemed inferior in almost every way except the fact that it was far more engaging to drive.

As long as it's under warranty and the dealership gives you a free loaner when it's in the shop you should be fine.

Why not a new TL? Incredible car, ultra reliable and available in AWD. I get 31+mpg with the FWD driving just shy of 80 on the interstate. And it is at the top of the crash ratings.

Audi body styling is top shelf, and superior IMHO over its competitors. The 2.0 T powerplant in the A4 is very accomodating to tuning and delivers great mileage. Being a manual tranny bigot myself, I suspect finding a 6M 2013 A4 might present a challenge. I certainly love my 08 A3. I have my eyes on the A5 next. YMMV

We have a 2011 S4 since new. Only problem we've had was the backup camera which was fixed under warranty. It's my wife's daily driver and she loves it.

Some of you Audi lovers have to stop breeding.

Audi A4

I owned an 08 A4 very unreliable in the shop 21 times in 24 months but I understand the new ones are much better. I would probably do the extended warranty. By the way it is much nicer looking than the TSX and way more fun to drive.

The new A4 compares favorably to the new 3-series in multiple reviews. Audi reliability has overall gotten better in the last few years. Both the Audi and BMW will be nicer to drive than the TSX, with the Audi having the edge inside. Audi interiors are top notch.
