two questions. 5 hour energy shots? and car-tops luggage torpedo things?

sorry for the two random questions. trying to save post count..

1.
anyways. anyone drink those five hour energy shots? do they work? i dont drink any energy drinks..maybe a sugar free red bull on road trips. no so sure it even works on me. i am lucky and get 8 hours of sleep nightly. i am not a tired person. i've never seen anyone drink one..but they seem to sell. do they work?

2. and the yakima or Thule roof luggage pods. thinking of putting one on my truck roof rack (mine is yakima) for additional luggage room on my road trips. ice chest eat up alot of space in my truck on my hunting trips. do they destroy MPG's? i see folks driving with them day after day..i would only put mine up there when i need it.

I have had exactly one of the 5 hour energy drinks. I was on the return trip driving home and I was tired. It did just what I wanted. I did not feel wired, but I was not sleepy anymore. That night I went right to sleep.

I have never had a red bull or any other energy drink besides iced tea or coffee.

5 Hour Energy works for me. About the only time I use it is after lunch when making the 12 hour drive to/from my wife's parent's place in TX. I feel alert, but not wired at all.

I have a Packline rooftopper/ cartop carrier that I used to use on our Nissan Xtrail(think small Nissan Pathfinder). Paid over a $1000 for it and it is collecting dust right now. Used to carry 170cm skiis and ski boots in it. I cannot remember if gas consumption deteriorated that much.Probably not as it is pretty streamlined. Watch out when parking in underground lots as it needs increased clearance.

I had to buy special Nissan cross members to accomodate it. It was very satisfactory for our trips but only used it about 5x.

Probably you are likely too far from me. I would think that shipping on this size would be big $$$$.

I highly recommend them but only if you use it lots or else it will be...collecting dust!

I don't drink the energy drinks, but I do know they are a lot cheaper to buy in bulk off of Amazon.
