Hugh, who's the prettiest celebrity you've ever met?

Who's not as pretty in person? Who's the nicest and not so nice? Just wondering is all. I know you see Jeri Ryan often and on screen she is fine but I wonder if she is so in person. I think Drew Barrymore is beautiful as well as the woman in the Hulk movie. Can't remember her name but she has eyes that can melt.

I wouldn't expect Hugh to comment.

You would be surprised how nice may actors are. My view is that they get a bit cranky if you get in their face. I leave them alone when I run into them in restaurants and such. I do admit to "staring" on occasion in dark restaurants and I know they look familiar, but can't place them. I did that to Scott Baio one night. I remember him giving me a bit of a stare as I was leaving.

Dave Grohl is the nicest celeb Ive run into. I didnt recognize him at first and then asked if we had gone to high school together or something. After realizing who he was, he laughed and we had a pretty cool chat while waiting for our plane back to LA.

Totally down to earth and funny.

I was standing next to Danny Glover at the Atlanta airport last week. I never asked him for an interview but several people did and he was kind enough to oblige. He also posed for several pictures. Very nice guy. Way taller than I thought he'd be.

Yeah, I see him at the local CPK all the time. He lives around me.

I had Sigourney Weaver checking me out. Yeah seriously. I expected to be passed a note to that said "Ms Weaver would like to see you in her hotel room at 9:00 tonight."

But Probably what it was... Was she thought "Who is this creep who keeps pretending he's looking out the window but is looking at me. Shall I call the police?"

She didn't look as good in real life as she does in the movies or the gossip mag's.

Lynn Redgrave is one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. I was on the production crew of Morgan Stewerts Coming Home and had a great time. Lynn went out of her way to find me to pick her mother up from the airport when she flew in because she thought her and I would have a "grand time". she was right her mom was a total hoot. When my dad met Lynn he was star struck and she played it to the hilt to the great amusement of her and I and the total distress of my father.
John Cryer was an ass and The reason Paul Gleason is always playing a dikc head is the fact that he doesn't have to act.

Lyle Lovett many years ago. He had time to talk with all the children in the place, spent some extra time talking with a few of them while his dinner got very, very cold. Seemed like a very warm person. Friends said he was always like that.

Wife met Garth Brooks at Texas A&M before he broke out. She said he was GOOD LOOKING and kind.

My Mother had some awful things to say about several writers and actors she met. They are all dead now so I doubt it fits into your poll.

I flew from Chicago to L.A. with Mr. T. He is a super nice guy. He would fly out to Chicago to help inner city kids. And at the time, he was fighting cancer.

I was seriously embarrassed once. We ran into Robert Vaughn on Nantuckett Island. My wife(ex-wife) and her cousin went and fawned over him. I think he was on Nantuckett to get away from "fans".

In October I posted about my run in with Ginger Lynn. She was super nice and we chatted for a while. I will call into her radio show when I have a rental car with Sirius on an upcoming business trip.

I had a store in Beverly Hills for about 9 years and our client base was heavy with celebrities.....tv actors, big time movie stars, pro athletes and rock musicians.
Sylvester Stallone wanted the front door locked so he wouldn't be bothered while he was shopping. That was OK since he dropped 100K in about an hour.
Nice ones were Richard Dreyfuss, Jerry Seinfeld and many others.
Not nice, in fact pompous arse was Don Henley.
Absolute best, nicest and drop dead gorgeous was Cheryl Ladd.

Our way was to treat celebs like "regular" people and treat regular people like celebs!

my name is not Hugh, however I have met dozens of movie stars.
the worst: Sylvester Stallone
the best: Omar Sharif.
notably fantastic women: Reese Witherspoon, Cybil Shepherd, Mary Tyler Moore.
Special mention:
Hoyt Axton was quite the good old boy. I met him on the We're No Angels set, circa 1988.
Jessica Alba, Dark Angel, she was a really nice young adult.

I doubt you're going to get Hugh to call what are essentially his coworkers hot, fat, ugly, etc.

He is a funny guy. Look up the video of foo fighters vs. westboro church.

I wouldn't recommend for anybody to "out" someone they work with or have worked with in the past. Celebrities are people. They have their good days and bad days. Some take out their frustrations in less than civil ways and some don't. Just like the rest of us.

My interactions pale in comparison and I'll spare you the details, but I was standing at an event with Randy "Macho Man" Savage about 18 years ago and under his breath, but still in his weird voice, he looked around and said to himself "I'm so tired of all this".

Funny thread. Actually I have very little interaction with the Talent. I'm not going to comment on any one in particular, but I divide actors into two categories, those that talk to the crew between takes and those that don't. Some come in, do their lines and then go directly back to their dressing trailer, those are mostly the movie actors. The TV actors, I guess because its their regular job, are a lot more friendly to the crew. I rarely see actors without make up, its the first thing that they do before going on to the Set.

The most striking actress that I've ever been around is going to be an Executive Producer on an upcoming TV pilot. I'll tell you who she is when the pilot is wrapped in a month or so.
