Maybe for some. For others, it is simply that people show their true colors and now no one will have anything to do wth them. Normy was a good example of that. He was vile over there, and people shunned him everywhere.

As Americans have gorged themselves on reality TV, politicians have created their own mini-series with a robust and colorful cast of characters. Just like on TV, we have teams, us against them, good guys we cheer for and bad guys we love to hate. Couple this with opinion-based, talking head celebrity media, and you, yourself, are an expert. A star. They are talking to YOU. And you can be a part of the show.

In the 1970's my grandmother went to the beauty parlor and they all talked about their soaps: who did what, and why and to whom. What would they do next?!

Today, folks do the same, but now they are characters in the reality TV drama of the moment.

It's called PARF.
