I suppose so. There isn't that much water in the river though. I've seen them blasting up the Ruamahanga river which isn't that far from here.
It's my first go in the Canadian canoe in a river since I bought it a few weeks ago. I'm practicing for a bigger better, more mountainous river. I lasted 25km (15 miles) before I came to grief so that was quite good. |

I should be back down this time next year. We are the North American owner of Hawkeye UAS, a New Zealand firm based out of Palmerston North. Home - HAWKEYE UAV I plan on kayaking when I am down there...I've been white-watering for over 40 years and can't wait to dip my toe in your rivers.  Only one question: Life jacket?
