Finally got a vehicle I WANTED.

OK, I have always gone a milder route for my vehicles, meaning I've settled. This time I didn't, I finally got the truck I wanted...and I got a great freaking deal.

Sure, gas prices are going up...what the hell, now I have something that will reliably tow my boat and can take to the mountains. Good times...2010 model....

Great buy. We just bought a new F150 4x4 last week, love it.

Nice truck!

Very good choice. Which engine did you get? The turbo V6 or the 5.0 V8? I have a 2012 F150 4x4 w/5.0 engine. Really great power and it is more efficient than my '06 F150 with the 4.6 V8!

He bought a 2010. I would guess a 5.4. The 5.0 and turbo v6 (eco) were new in 2011 models.

Exactly.

Agreed... I'm absolutely NOT a fan of the wagon wheel/rubber band look on a truck.

When I said bigger tires, I meant something more like this (random heisted from the internet):

the newer ford motors; did they address that stripped spark plug issue?

i do love those trucks. OP's looks nice. as i am getting older, i am perfectly fine with the OEM ride height and stance.

Yeah the 20120 has a 5.4. It rolls down the highway and I cannot wait to see how it pulls my boat....I suspect with ease.

Really, the thing is immaculate and this is definitely high on my list of good memory days.
