If you don't figure out the food situation, you will be in for a long, miserable life. It is a daily issue, that you cannot escape, and it will destroy even the most loving bond. The daily pressure of determining "what's for dinner" is omnipresent, and grinds on her like a ton of bricks. There are very few things that a man needs, and most women feel a sense of responsibility to provide meals that her man enjoys. If she cannot fill that role, you better find a satisfactory way for it to be filled, so she can retain her sense of responsibility to the relationship. Find a compromise between your tastes for "good cooking" and her ability. There are plenty of meals that can be made that satisfy, and don't require a culinary degree. I would venture to say that there are very few "cooks" anymore. Most folks simply heat food that was already prepared. To expect someone in today's world to "create" dishes is unrealistic with the time demands we have.
