Is this another new craigslist scam???

What the heck is this? On craigslist this is a reply to an add I posted. I use the system that keeps email addresses private. My cell phone is in the body of my add.

Sounds fishy but whats the point?

I received this reply from you but your return email address is a craigs list type email address and I am unable to send an email to those types of addresses from my home computer. A friend of mine has the same problem trying to send a message to Craigslist ads.

I had to use my neighbors computer to get my message to you.

I am interested but will have several questions and would like to be able to communicate from my own computer instead of bothering my niehbor to use his computer so if you would reply to this and send along a normal usable email address, I could then communicate with you from my computer. I would do this over the phone but because of my hearing my wife says I have no business trying to talk to anyone over the phone.

Huh?

Send a message via AIM to Gogar
It sounds sort of odd. If you're worried but want to continue then just create an 'additional' email on whatever service you're using or a fresh gmail account or something and use that for this person.

It's a spin on a common theme where people are selling legit email addresses to companies for something like $.50-$1.50 a piece - more if that is tied to a phone number.

In this area a typical reply to a C/L ad would be: Is is still sale? (an hour after I posted). That message is relayed through C/L but when you reply, obviously it's from your actual email account. People here phish this deal all day long and most at the end of the day have what I would imagine a good amount of real email addresses to sell.

That $$ amount is what I'm told / understand. As I said above the price increases when a valid email comes with a valid phone number, then a zip code verification of the owner. very easy to do really. The personal info was given freely, obtained legally.

Most all these originate from a smart phone, where some slacker is alternately monitoring the entire sale section of C/L while browing gay pron sites of something like that. Cash in at the end of the day.
