I fail to understand the constant banter in PARF, all the same few people and no one ever changes their thinking. Yet it continues, what a ****ing waste of time.

Yes, but that's what makes dialogue interesting. Differing perspectives and opinions that you can't relate to are what makes for a good solid dynamic, so long as you have participants willing to dialogue with an open mind. Otherwise you end up with a litterbox like PARF.

Especially Parf. Sometimes I think I am on another planet never mind the same continent. Please no more civil war. I need a peaceful country I can visit in the middle of winter where English is spoken and I can enjoy the warm sun. Moderator you can parf this if you want.....

Nope - I can relate to all of them I have read to date. While I do not agree with some I can certainly see their POV and I think I understand a little of why they post what they do.

Every time a gun thread is created, I just shake my head. I still can't wrap my brain around the reason to own one, let alone a huge armoury, and why it's such a big deal to most of you that the US Gov't would like to regulate the possession and use of them.

Maybe Canada is just too safe and I need to get out more? *shrug*

No PARF intended, just a personal example of "What are these people thinking?".

If by "everybody" you mean the same 10 people, over and over and over again, I agree.

I understand where you are coming from. I am not a candidate for parf. If I lived in the US I would want a gun as much as my neighbor. The problem is I might use it too often. I am better to shoot off my mouth anytime than start firing lead. No guns here, just knives, a baseball bat and a sword!

Statistically here you are more likely to get killed by somebody you know than you don't know....I think the US is the same?
