Burglars shouldn't be held at gunpoint. They should be killed. I'm not kidding. They should assume this will be the outcome if they are caught.

This would be a difficult position to defend in front of a jury, even in Texas. Three kids, apparently unarmed and offering no resistance.

If that happened in my house, the first one would be dead before he finished coming through the window, so the other two would probably not follow.

If someone was breaking into my home, I wouldn't be standing there like Rambo, I would be legitimately scared. Anyone breaking into an occupied home is either out of their head on drugs, or a serious bad actor who means you harm. Either way, I'm not letting some scumbag get off a shot and kill me in my own home. He's getting dropped the second he's inside the envelope of the house.
