He opened himself up for criticism when he concocted the story of the; no rust, no damage, low mileage, etc. when the very photos he posted told a differing story.

He should have just said, look what a great car I found, posted the photos and then just STFU!

But 'thread count' - sometimes it's not just about buying new sheets.

I would think these 911 "barn find" threads are "on" topic and should be in the 911 technical forum. But it's a small thing.

126coupe: please do not open any more threads on this subject matter. I think you scored a great early 911 -- but there is no need to go spammerific and create several threads about the car. Just keep it contained in your original thread you started here in OT. If you wish, I can move it to the 911 tech section, or keep it here -- makes no difference to me, really. BUT: just post updates in the original thread.
