what did (are) you planting in your herb garden?

i just dug out all the old stuff. starting off with clean pots. i do, thyme, sage, and tarragon. kinda bored. i use it all the time. especially the thyme.

anything else i should consider? i do basil, but that seems to be a rotation amongst the plants. i cut them up and replant thru the season.

what are you planting. i do this all in a series of big pots by the back door. i just poke my head out with a pair of scissors at cooking time. works for me. you?

hmm..maybe chives? is this pot-able?

I asked my wife:

Parsley, sage, thyme, rosemary, garlic jives, onion jives, Italian basil, thai basil, oregano, cilantro, horse radish, lavender, sorrel, savory, tarragon, St, Johns Wort, lemon balm, bronze fennel, horehound, licorice, mint (many varieties), tansy (insect repellant), Soapwort, hyssop, salad burnett, borage (blue and white), epazote, sweet bay, lemon grass, comfrey, indigo, mullein, cat nip, yarrow and santolino (insecticidal herb).

Off the top of her head. Some we eat, some teas, medicinal, flowers, etc.

She gardens.

Some more: Lovage, cutting celery, marjorum, anjelica, anise, cherbil, caraway, verbena.

I have thyme, basil, mint and sage. I expect to add some this year. I have to keep the Basil inside as the bugs around here strip it otherwise.

We have two Aerogardens going right now. We haven't started any herbs yet but we have 3 kinds of peppers, lettuce and tomatoes going. Next we'll start some basil, parsley and cilantro to be transplanted once the weather breaks.
No weed, although that's what I'm pretty sure everyone else uses Aerogardens for.

Right now I have ice in my garden. But eventually there'll be basil, thyme, mint (there's always mint) dill, and I'm giving wasabi a try.

Beth plants all the herbs we use and we use a lot of basil, cilantro, dill and thyme. I grow hops but I brew with those...

Considering there's a foot of snow and the ground is frozen; nothing. But we do have an aero garden and I just started the herb grow...

thyme, sage, roesemary, lots of basil, oregano, garlic, shallots. I used to grow a larger variety, but realized I didn't use some of it.
