Sliding around in a 911 is the best fun

My '70T was my daily driver, snow and all. It was a blast! Lots of traction, steer with the throttle. I'd do the same with my '88 but it has nearly slick RE11 tires. Plus the S8 makes snow a non-issue.

That would be fun but it looks a little too cold for me

A friend and I did something like this a few years ago with the local Audi club, Glacier Lakes Quattro Club.

We were on normal winter tires, with my 911 on Blizzaks and my friend on some Pirellis with his 944.

Would have been a lot more fun with studded tires..just getting moving could be a pain.

My only beef with the 911 - and as anyone who drives one of these in the snow can agree - the heat exchangers get plenty of snow inside..carry a rag to wipe the window..

this is a great way to learn car control and explore the car's dynamics - you can do it all at very slow speed

This is why I rally cross. I don't have the balls to do it in my 911s though, as they are too low.

I thought for sure this thread was going to be a sport seat vs regular seat post.

Don't worry about that. Being Sweden you could warm up later in a sauna or hot tub full of naked blonde girls.
