Turning 50 with a Porsche and in skinny jeans. Mid-life crisis?

I used to wear Levis 501s but the look is dated so I switched to slim fit 514s. I recently tried skinny fit 511s and, surprisingly, they feel good and fit well. Wifey says they look great on me and makes me look more youthful. Any other middle aged Pelicans sporting skinny fit jeans? Turning 50 this year so is this what they mean by mid-life crisis?

I'm not urban hipster enough to pull it off.

I bought some medium-stonewashed 501s just a couple weeks ago, and I love the classic look, but now you have me wondering, so I'm bringing my girlfriend with me to Penneys this weekend to investigate the 511s and 514s. She loves shopping, and Penneys has a huge section of jeans.

Youthful?.... I think women use the word "sexy."

Wow, what a way to kill the thread, tweeze. Bunch of pics of middle-aged guys in jeans too young for them. Yeah, that's gonna generate a lotta traffic.

But he looks "youthful" and "sexy". I wanna see. And who says middle-aged guys aren't hot? I think men are starting to pay attention to their looks just as much as women, and believe me, we are noticing.

If you are gonna wear it in public, why wouldn't you post it here? Where all your beloved friends are?

What's 50 with 501's? That's young. Try 70 with 501's:

Hey I'm 70, and 501s are still my favorite of all time. I like the fit & the button up front. My wife bought a pair of boot cut jeans for me she really likes. But amazingly enough she really likes it when I walk around in the 501s with no shirt & shoes. Lucky guy I am. I wouldn't be caught dead in a pair of those skinny things!

Wear 'em if you got it.

I have been wearing skinnier pants after a couple decades of loose clothes. Just felt like a change.

In jeans I still like 501s, but also like the Calvin Klein straight cut. I have gone as skinny as the ones shown below, but not for everyday kickin' around. If you want your ego mauled, go try on some H&M pants. I wear 32 waist in everything else, can just squeeze 31, but a 32 H&M won't even fit over my hips such as they are. I think they are cut for adolescents.

The biggest problem with skinny jeans is if you ride a lot, your thighs are a very tight fit. Some of them are cut for stringbeans.

Some of these kids these take skinny so far it looks like they stole their little brother's clothes.

Don't go that far just to show you are doing skinny.

They don't look too comfortable. They have no b-llroom. Just give them a break and go one size bigger. I give you cojones for posting your pic for a demanding audience.
