My wife never gets sick and she laughs at the high pollen count.

Seriously, I cannot remember the last time she got sick. No colds, no flu, no allergies. She can eat spicy foods until late at night and never gets heartburn. Her whole family is that way except for her oldest brother probably because he smokes a pack a day. What the heck kind of immune system do they have? I go for a short bike ride on a windy day and I want to scratch my eyes out afterwards because they're so itchy. Anyone else impervious to everyday bugs? I envy you.

Beside the minor post nasal drip about 362 days out of the year that causes a little itch in there, no allergies. Long bike rides in the spring time or fall isn't an issue. I learn to like spicy foods and now I am addicted. I have never had heart burns before. I do get colds almost every winter because my kids bring it home from their germ factory playing with all of the other snot running kids all day.

If you have food allergies, it makes all the other things worse. If you eat or drink certain things on a daily basis, how would you know ? I don't eat much sugar, virtually none, and I eat very little dairy. If allergies or colds hit, I cut back on wheat. I can tell when I am getting out of hand now, but I am not a purist.

I used to suffer with horrible allergies. Pecan pollen in was my worst. I started going to a local allergy clinic 20 years ago. I get a shot of serum they mix up. My wife injects me in the arm once a week. My allergies are virtually gone. If you allergies are bad, go see a allergy Dr. It might take 10 years before you notice a big difference, but it is worth it.

My grandfather(mother's father) passed away age 84. He never got sick, drank beer, whisky, rolled his own cigarettes etc. The only time he was in hospital was when he fell off a ladder picking apples.Broke his arm. Allergies? Heck none that he admitted to.Died in his sleep. Had garage sex once in a while(not with his wife). A perfect life!
