Position of speed and reference sensor connectors - 3.2 Carrera

Rebuilt my engine...need to know the correct location for the speed and reference sensor connectors when placed in the vertical bracket on the driver's side of the engine near the intake. Top connector (white) is the the head temp sensor, the other 2 connectors are marked BG and DG but unfortunately my BG and DG tags got removed from the sensor wires completely. I know which lines in the car harness plug into the middle and bottom connectors, but need to know if the middle connector in the bracket should be BG or DG.

Would like someone with a Carrera and the labels in tact to have a look please...

Thanks in advance.

If you have the wiring diagrams, you can pull the DME harness connector out and check for continuity. Mine doesnt have the tags either. Sorry.

The position does not matter, so long as you get the two cables matched. You'll know if you don't because the car won't run.

In that pic, the top is the reference (position) sensor, and the lower is speed. You can just make the middle plug reference, and the bottom plug speed. The top is CHT.
