Wow, back when I was a teen and into detroit muscle in the late 80s those were pretty highly sought after. If that's accurate and not a fake, then I would think it would be a high dollar car.
350/360 is an LT1 which should have a 780cfm holley, forged rods, maybe forged crank too as well as a solid lifter cam. Muncie M21, 12 bolt. I'd love to have something like that, but I wouldn't expect it to be cheap.

I don't think those have nearly the value of a pre-1970. That's a split bumper, right? Very cool cars, I desperately wanted a 1974 in high school but my dad said no.

this particular car is an RS option split bumper, 29k miles, # match.
Nothing aftermarket on it. ![]() I'm Not a flipper. just might be able to sell it in the future for what I buy it for so considering it. Although they are easier to buy than to sell. ![]() Seems even the nice Z28 clones are $$$. Wonder if it could hang with a 1970 911S or and an 80s 3.2 Carrera? ![]() ![]() |

They are worth quite a bit assuming it's a real one. Buy it right, you won't lose.

Hagerty is a little on the end side on evaluations, and take into consideration only real all-numbers matching vehicles. A good guide is Ebay ended auctions. You can see what cars are bringing and compare apples to apples.

If it's truly original I don't see a downside
I think that car has yet to hit it's stride

70.5 Z28 Camaro
I had a rough one I sold to a guy in California many years ago. Funny thing for these Camaro's is they have to be numbers matching to get maximum value from them. Mine was not and the Camaro snobs at local car shows did not want to even talk to me? DP

Here is what I recall from my 73.
Doors were stupid heavy saggers. Wars with rust Once uncorked it was a fun first car. Make sure the block and cyl head numbers are not tampered with. Super easy to do and takes someone who knows what they are looking at to spot, or so I've heard. Also needs OE cast exh manifold/header for top dollar asked. And correct transistor ignition including doghouse. Cool car though if muscle is your bag, or should I say the future admirer if you can get him to look away from his iphone.

Real ones are rare (especially the r/s bumper look).
And desirable. |

car is not a S35k car.
I'd place it on the Haggertry list a little above the red line. Its had one engine rebuild and one nice repaint over 25 years ago. no rust its a 20 footer. the 2nd (current) owner raced it at the local drag strip (Carlsbad). It ran 14.4 stock. He removed the rear sway bar and bolted traction bars. It 60 foot better but handled worse. Sway bar goes back on... Race carb and headers it ran 13.3 106mph. It has the stock 12 bolt with a 4:10 gear. Cold started and idled nice. The cam cam/flat tappets seemed quiet me. But my wingman expert said it was all there. The replaced stock parts are in a box. Test drive soon. Maybe the Barona 1/8 mile? Should make rpm fast with the 4.10 and 2 people in it. ![]() |

14.4 seems slow for stock with today's better tires. Perhaps they lowered original high compression in rebuild or it's just driver inexperience. Or posi is worn some.

106 MPH he's making power. Maybe too much if the engine is allegedly "stock". Really doesn't mean much however, you can easily return it to stock specs in a few days. The beauty of owning possibly the most common engine in North America.
You can't expect much from a leaf spring car with that bad of steering feel, designed in the 60's- it's gonna go strip OR road course, doubtful both unless you really did some surgery on the chassis.

I agree with Randy. 13.3 in a quarter is not a viable stock time for that engine. And with a 4.1 gear, she'll sure be high revving at 106 mph.
For comparison, the published specs on a 69 Yenko Camaro with a 427 gives a 1/4 mile speed of 105.5 (American Muscle By Randy Leffingwell)
