leather cover for Carrera steering wheel

Hello I need some one that can recover my factory 1974 Carrera steering wheel.
Black leather is what it came with. Also anyone know where to get the right stuff carpet
for the same car? Blue / Black but the carpet is dark blue. Thanks George

There are places that will do a stock recover job or you could go with a wheel skin and install it yourself

The wheel skin will look good and be cheaper, but the stock recover will look new/stock

Pelican sells carpet in all grades. Their vendors have a wide selection and you should find a match.

There is a place called Dallas Custom Steering Wheels. He redid by Leather Carrera wheel and it is pretty much perfect. He matched the color perfect.

Dallas Custom did mine as well. Not cheap, but excellent work. Do a search on PP. Lots of photos and reviews of their work.

Yea, they are not the cheap place, but they do top quality work. I am very happy with it. Every time I get in the steering wheel is something I have to hold on to and touch and feel. It looks great.

Just google them. You will find the web site.

www.raredrive.com for high quality wheel refinishing. I saw one in an early S and just loved the look and feel.

I re-did my steering wheel with a leather kit about 20 years ago. It still looks great and I get pleasure knowing it was me who did it.

Do a search. There is a guy who has detailed instructions in the 911 ech forum for recovering the steering wheel using a pair of ladies leather boots...
