My mother-in-law just passed...
My mother-in-law just passed this AM after a lengthy illness (COPD) and she is no longer suffering. We have spent the past few weeks with her and my father-in-law. To say she was a wonderful woman is an understatement of the highest order. Those of you who know us know that we have had our share of sadness the past year, but our faith is strong and we will carry on.
Our daughter and exchange student both made the School Superintendent's List and have their award banquet this PM, so we have a lot to be thankful for. We are sad because we'll miss Patricia but we know she's no longer suffering and she's in a better place... I will do what I can for my wonderful wife and her family as they are wonderful people and I'm blessed to be a part of their family...

Yes Mothers are really special. They play a big role in their children's lives. Unfortunately nobody lasts forever. Lost my mother last year and my MIL 10 years ago. I hear you....

Art, my sincere condolences. For a man of your character to say this woman was a fine person speaks volumes. Her family's support was surely what made her pain bearable in her last few weeks.
