Wiring Out

Finished removing all harnesses. will check ohms, but I'm betting its all good to go.

Been down that road just once. I think that's one of the toughest jobs in restoration; R and R wiring. The other times I've done it, I just started from scratch rather than pull the original back in. But a 911 it's too complicated for that.

For me anyway.

I'd recomend replacing the harness since you've got it completely out.. Absolute values in Ohms especially if measured with inexpensive meters is not a full indication of integrity. Copper gets work hardened by current over time. Circuits could look great laying on the floor but, then when re-installed......poof.

Skimping here can lead to severe headaches down the road when being put back together.

That seems overkill. However, there are some specialists that can go over the wiring and determine any deficiencies. With the harness out, this might be a good preemptive step.

I forget, will this be a driver or original concours type? If a driver, might be a good time to upgrade to a modern blade style fuse block as built and sold by Pelican's own Fred Cook.
