I have had ad blocker for a couple years on firefox. A blessing. I am sure sales will go up on the lube book with this product placement, no question.
It is simple lubey - you looked for your book on amazon and it put a nice little cookie to remind you next time you log onto one of their advertising partner sites. I can look at underwear on amazon and the same underpants will show the next hour on PPOT. g |

The google AdChoices ads connect with Google search and Amazon search and display ads for items that you have recently searched for or items similar.
You are seeing ads for you book because you've looked for it, however we aren't seeing ads for your book. We're seeing ads custom to what we search for. My gripe with those type of ads is that I constantly see ads for things I've already bought. For example, right now above this there is an ad for the Nexus 7, undoubtedly because I've searched google/amazon for the Nexus 7. Thing is, I already own one. I don't need another. No matter how smart they thing their ad engines are, they aren't perfect yet.
