Unusually eventful race.

What a good race.....so happy for the victor........:-)

That is just who I wanted to win. Great job.

This is so funny, I'm traveling for the next few races, and missed the broadcast of the race. So I thought I'd check in hear to find out what happened in the race. But you guys are being so careful not to spoil it for anyone that I still don't know what happened or who won it.

I'm in L A right now, and wonder if there is a rebroadcast?

Cheers Richard

Go to f1.com and you can read about it.......I know I avoid all things media when I haven't watched it yet...

Yawnnnnn..... a race of desperation. Nothing happening at the front. Button and Alonso asleep at the wheel and getting beat up on by the desperadoes. Perez trying to put his car where it wouldn't fit. The one-car width rule is total BS, as we can see by this race. Feel sorry for poor Kimi. Perez and Grosjean were both out of control and should be heavily penalized. Worst "race" on the calendar, IMHO! We need more points for pole and fast lap! Tires have taken on too much importance, for sure.

First F1 race I have seen in a long time.... cool technology.... lousy racing to watch IMO. Seemed like follow the leader on a skinny track that there are very few places pass.

I'd love to know why my DVR recorded the tail end of an earlier airing of the race. As soon as I hit play I got to see the winner celebrating.

See the other thread on that very subject.

Quite a disappointment here in Houston.

I'm not bog on any street racing and one of the big ones is right here. I'm not sure what the perfect race venue is, but maybe 10 laps around the Fontana road course, then out the gate and all the way into L.A. using a plethora of on and off ramps, freeway transitions and back again for another 10 laps around the oval.

Since they don't fuel up anymore, just give them some all day tires and let'em go.

OTOH, if they connected Big Willow and Streets into one long course, you would see racing at it's absolute best.

Edit - sorry, will post in the spoiler thread

At least Mercedes a "real car manufacturer" won the race; NOT an energy drink...

What a strange observation.

My local NBC station decided to cut into their local political hot-spot show at 10:00 a.m. on the nose. Most of the bottom crawl was further obscured by their breaking news programming note of the show at 10.

Unlike the old days of Paul Page apologizing on air for viewers having to change the channel to ESPN2 for the end of CART races, my local NBC station decided to just cut out. Very professional. Here's to a long line of mystery ending races on NBC (tune in next week to see who won...)
