Beware when selling your car/truck...

It happened about two weeks ago. Apparently a young family man was selling his truck over the internet in the Southern Ontario region of Canada. The prospective buyer goes with the seller to take it for a test drive. As the truck drives away another truck follows. The truck owner goes missing and his remains are found incinerated. The clue the police had was that the missing truck was parked in a driveway somewhere else. How do these perps think they can get away with it? Offenders have been caught. I wish we had the death penalty over here.....

...And that's why I left the country several years ago. If the seller had been able to secure a "carry permit" I'm sure the outcome would have been different.

This all took place more or less in my backyard. Horribly tragic story - 32 year old with a 2 year old kid. Took them for a test drive, never came home. Who kills someone over a 2007 dodge ram? The one guy arrested was a bright, well-to-do guy by all accounts. Doesn't make sense, and very sad.

It's getting worse. Now they suspect he could have killed his dad and a former GF that went missing last year. Terrible crimes. Condolences to the family and friends.

To sell a vehicle, the ideal way to do the test drive is to tell the prospective buyer to meet you at the shop where he is going to have his PPI done. Let him and the mechanic drive it and you sit in the back seat. Or not.

I'm pretty sure there's much more to the story of just a guy selling a truck to a couple of strangers and getting killed. Truth will come out soon. Living in fear is a sad life.

Really doesn,t make sense The guy charged has a property he paid $850000 (cash) in 2010 and closed on a $550,000 condo downtown Toronto (also cash) two days after the disappearance.
Why carjack a 25000 truck. Thrill killing ?
