It's beginning to feel a lot like Houston...

We had a low of just barely over freezing the other night here in central Germany.
Quite a shock for our Hawaiian sensibilities, we really are weather whimps.
Highs in the low 50s means lots of inside time, that's why I'm hanging here so much while on vacation.

71 here now but it sure feels like it's going to be a hot one here this summer, too! AC has been on since April just to suck up the humidity.

I get emails from Weather Underground for various things. This is one that I got last night or this morning.

A record high minimum temperature of 79 degrees was tied at
Houston/hobby Airport yesterday...may 31 2013. This ties the old
record of 79 set in 2004.

We have had the coldest spring since records were started in the 1850's.....all of us in the Netherlands are driving as much as possible, breathing heavily and generally generating as much C02 as possible to get a little global warming going on here.

I am envious...

87 degrees here on the Maine Coast, 72% humidity. I would go and jump in the Atlantic but that
would probably kill me, the water temp is 48 degrees. And just last Tuesday it was raining and
49 degrees for the high, some spring ( heh )
