Where's the none of the above option.

Hell, I grew up in the 80s when guys started getting an ear pierced, and I never even went that route.

I take a bath and shave my head. I do trim my nails (hands and feet). I guess that's about as close as I've ever come.

Agreed.

Does penile reduction count?

Bill Douglas 06-12-2013 12:49 AM

I've gone the other way. I take even less care of myself than I used to. I've even started doing my own haircuts to save $36 dollars plus parking fees. Actually I don't care how I look. But... If I did suddenly become single (heaven forbid) I'd get allsorts of things done.

I trimmed my finger and toe nails yesterday.

I have a twitch in my left eye/cheek area. I have botox injections about every six mts. I do not like the way it kills the whole side of my face, but it needs to be done.

By the time the injections wear off my eye is almost closed all the time. The injections do help me look "normal".

Does this count??

Wifey cuts my hair, saves $20 per haircut.

I do all my own work, toe nails, shave, hair buzzer on what's left, ear hair plucker, ect. But I did have professionals paint may car. Like most of us here, I'm the complete package.

You guys will laugh at me, but for a serious coffee drinker I found this really helps.

It does count. That twitch must be irritating! Any idea of the cause?

shadowjack1 06-12-2013 07:42 AM

jyl: the cause is a nerve that is being pinched. The only way to correct it is to go thru the brain. I guess you would call that open head surgery.
I'll stick with the botox.

After having/breastfeeding two kids, I had an augmentation about a year and a half ago. I like to think of it as reconstructive more than cosmetic(not that it really matters) but, I'm still not big and not any bigger than I was before the children ruined them.

If you're counting tattoos as "skin art," then yes. Other than that, no. Like many of the other guys, as the hair started to thin, I shaved it off. I get Bosley letters in the mail on a weekly basis (how do they know I'm bald?!?!), but they go into the trash without even being opened. I would never waste my money on cosmetic surgery; my ex-wife, however, did get a nose/boob job while I was away in Afghanistan/Iraq. She apparently had no problem wasting my money on cosmetic surgery...

I do all that, too. Cut my own hair, etc.

AND I painted my own car!

Well, damn. Lost a piece of my cosmetic dentistry in an MMA match. Can't wait for the bill om this one. So much for not punching in the face.

Get yourself a sequined jumpsuit and head for Vegas!

As for me and "having work done"

I believe the saying goes "you can't polish a turd" :D
