Travel Insurance

Do you have/use travel insurance when you travel abroad? The insurance that I get through work is moderate. I am going on vacation this summer, and my wife gets free travel insurance through school, but we would like to get some for me as well.

Any thoughts.

The only travel insurance I have is the medical/medical evacuation insurance. NRA sells it cheap.

The only insurance I get for overseas is enrollment in MedJet for medical.

We get it whenever we travel out of province especially when we go to the US. Premiums for health insurance are not too bad but when we hit 70 yo I believe they go up a lot. We have never made a claim so I do not know how good these insurance companies are at honoring them.

To the States, yes I get coverage, province to province in Canada, no, for work overseas I have the medevac insurance but a lot of places I go to, even though they are third world, have good medical facilities for the basic stuff but there's no place like home if it's a serious problem
