I need a dash cam

I made a run to Home Depot and there was a "contractor" who was loading his truck right next to mine. Late-model truck with a lift kit, big shiny wheels, logos on the doors - the whole nine yards. He had a bunch of random crap in the bed which looked more like he was going to the beach rather than going to work. He lays a couple pieces of sheetrock over the tailgate, about 2/3 in, 1/3 out. I immediately knew what would happen, but I didn't know how to tell him, since I'm just some random schmuck and he's a contractor.

Sho' 'nuf, he's flying out of there, hits a speed bump and *snap* there goes the sheet rock. I don't think he even noticed, as he just kept on truckin'. I was in my VW truck, so there was no way I was going to be able to catch him to tell him.

right across the street from my office there is a home depot and the intersection leaving the HD has a descent bump if you are going fast....I have seen so much lumber and sheet rock in the middle of the street it's not even funny anymore....I just shake me head

He is an experienced contractor. He wanted it shorter the easy way.

I really wish I had been following someone with a dash cam who was just getting out of thier truck about 100 yards down the road from the local Menards entrance a few years back. The rear bumper was scraping the ground after both sets of leaf springs broke in half, and both rear tires blew out. He had the 8 foot bed of his mid 80s Dodge D-150 absolutely filled above the bed sides with bags of quickrete and was not getting home anytime soon

One bag is 80 lbs, and he had the whole bed filled about 4 or 5 layers deep....stupid, stupid, stupid !

Ha! You should have seen the boat with it's azz on the ground when it slid backwards off a trailer a week or so ago at an intersection nearby. Nice boat too - a Robalo w/twin outboards...

Whenever a Home Defect opens, the circus has come to town. A Walmart with lumber.

Even better: there's a WalMart right next door.

Yes our local mall three blocks from us has been totally transformed in the last few years. We now have a Home Depot with a Walmart next door door. MacD's is 100 yards away. Safeways is there too. I must say with Home Defect as you call it you can inspect the lumber indoors which makes it way easier. So when you come to Edmonton you all can feel totally at home.

With a half rack of beer and a lawn chair, you can have a pretty good time at either a Home Depot parking lot or a public boat launch.
