psychic mediums

Has there ever been a psychic medium who has been helpful is solving a criminal case, or who has been helpful in any special way at all?

Some of them have websites that claim "amazing accuracy" but they also include a qualifying statement that their advice is not intended to help a person make a decision. Their advice is only a "prediction" of what might happen if a person continues doing what they're doing. That's what any ordinary counselor does. That doesn't take any special psychic ability. That only takes a little common sense. For their "psychic abilities" and "amazing accuracy" they charge $100 - $600 per hour, with a $20 minimum.

Do psychic mediums have any validity at all?

There are unknown energies out there in the Universe that we don't understand or know about yet.

In a scientific method, someone please explain Deja Vu to me please?

Other than it's time travel or we've lived it before or we're just playing out a tape of pre-destined life events.

About 20 years of so ago, I read about some research being conducted into deja vu. simpley put (and if I remember correctly) it is a disruption of neural systems or something like that.

You experience something thru your senses, (sight, sound, even taste and smell) most commonly sight, and you brain first processes this input, and almost immediately it goes into short term memory, and then back to processing. It all happens almost instantaneously.

when you experience deja vu, there is a disruption or "short ciruit" and the experience goes first to the memory, and then onto processing. You are techically "remembering" something as your experience it. It can actually continue for long (relatively short) periods of time. I've actually had experiences that seem to have gone on for almost 15 or so seconds.

15 seconds sums up my experience with Morgan Fairchild, Heather Thomas, and Farrah Faucet all at the same time............

That's the concept I'm familiar with. And it seems reasonable to me.

While there are many things that seem supernatural there are many natural things that are super...I give you the T&A threads!

I think that if there was much a power to be able to foresee the future these folks wouldn't live in nasty trailors and run down homes.

No. It is 100% a scam to fleece the gullible people from their money. There has never been a physic help and there have been many hinder an investigation.

Funny. I had a college class at UO on "Pseudopsychology. In a nutshell - no. People believe because they want to believe. Cool class.

It depends. Seems that a few psychics have provided some usefull information in crimes. It seems that some prominent cases have used information provided by psychics to help solve cases.

Now if someone is reading your tarot cards and you make them laugh would that be a happy medium?

I think they are well worth the money. I also think that financial advisors are worth the money.
