Need a ittle help with a power steering line

My 2000 Tundra needed a Steering rack and I located one at a local scrap yard for $90. Everything was good until I noticed that the douchebag that pulled it cut the pressure lines that run from the steering box to the cylinder. Anyway... I thought it would be simple enough to have one made a a local hydraulic shop but they gave me the Heisman.

So, can anyone tell me what these fittings are called and where I might be able to get one made? I know it's similar to (if not the same as) GM fuel lines and even some of their power steering lines.

It's 8mm OD and here is the diagram (it's item 44418a) and the second photo is a close up of the end. Thx guys.

45 deg double inverted flare. You need at a minimal a $300 or so tool to make these, or find someone that has one. Also called a "push connect" flare. GM uses these on fuel lines as you mentioned, and their power steering. I find them to be a pain in the rear to make personally.

Thx, would a diesel shop maybe have the tool? Or maybe an A/C shop?

For my 82 Landcruisrer I once got an aftermarket replacement high pressure power steering hose with all the fittings from PEP Boys. This was a special hose part rubber and part metal. It had all the right fittings, fit-in perfectly and has worked for 12 years.

I have the tool that makes them. On my tool, it is listed as "gm fuel line fittings" The tool is a little older. IF these are the lines that are part of the rack, why don't you just steal them from the bad rack when you do the swap? Just make sure you clean them out good, and try not to twist the fittings off them
