Best Photosharing Website
I just returned from a trip to Portland to see family and spend a week at Long Beach, Wa. (hey Don Ro, I never knew Dismal Nitch was actually a town!
![]() Anyway, I wanted to upload a buttload of pics to share with family and friends. I have a PhotoBucket account, but was wondering if there was something better, since PB seems to take a long time to load/ download. Had a great time, Portland and the Washington peninsula is beautiful! Oysterville, Long Beach, Chinook and Iwalco (?) are great towns. Really sucked not being able to pump your own gas in Oregon, I could have sped things up. But hey, you're on vacation. Us LA people could do with slowing the eff down. TIA

I've uploaded a thousand photos on to smugmug.com. Seems to widely used by many soccer teams for sharing.

Create an amazon ec2 instance, install apache, upload files, email urls
keep it relatively small and low scale and it is free for up to one year

I use photobucket. Works well, no limits I have found and the interface is easy. Even has a phone app for the phone picture uploads.
