			I have always liked the bi planes. One of my favorites is the Stagger Wing Beechcraft. I saw one at an airshow some years ago and immediately fell in love with it. 			More or less compared to what? Less thrust is required to keep a Pitts S1 (a biplane) aloft than a DC-3 (a monoplane). Less thrust is requires to keep a Piper Cub (a monoplane) aloft than a AN-2 (a biplane). It just depends on what you are comparing.
