I get as excited for electric vehicles:
-as I do for 40º rainy day.
-as I do for the next Honda Accord.

Read more about the Beemer. I'd get one. But I'd have the optional range extender ICE, so that it could go on roadtrips if necessary.

the battery charger engine is a twin cyl. -- hmm...

here is a cutaway - the entire unit body is CF and made in Wash. - who wants to join me for some dumpster diving?

the CF unit body is so strong it does not need a central pillar

may have a nice fun rear wt. bias...

also note how all the wt. is down way low below the flat floor - should have great handling to go with the high torque
