I like to go to the airport and hug random women as they disembark.

Man, I really hate people who initiate those kind of handshakes. You are trying to be pleasant and nice and they pull that ****.

The trick is to pull your hand slightly back when you feel the squeeze coming on so they are just squeezing your fingers and not your whole hand. Then you kick 'em in the nutz for squeezing soo hard.

Had an older big guy try the hard handshake of death on me and I squeezed right back with all my might. I saw a little bead of sweat leave his brow as he tried to let go. He didn't shake anyone else's hand after that.:D

acftually the trick is to put your index finger in the middle of their inside wrist and press

uh, no. Don't do the fingers only handshake. You should just skip the handshake altogether, or get a sex change operation so you can sneak up from behind and do the "spooning" hug like a woman.

Is there a pressue point there that causes some kind of great reaction? Kind of like a brown note... or does it just hurt like ****.

I've got a friend I've knowing for 35+ years (and I'm only 40). I have broken bread with him, drank his beer, watched his guns, lent him money with no expectation of return. I have driven considerable distance out of my way to help him (10 hours+) I have driven him to the hospital when he was bleeding and extracted a fish-hook from his ear with needle nose pliers. I have been a pall bearer at his brothers funeral, and his father, when he couldn't as he had a broken leg from the wreck that took his father.

I have been listed as his beneficiary, I have been a god father to his children. I dated his wife before she lowered her standards and accepted his proposal, and I have let him buy me lunch when I was down and out on money, knowing he didn't have the money to buy me lunch either.

I have not ever hugged him, nor will I ever.

I get it, you're not a hugger. You don't hug your friends. Is this supposed to be some sort of judgement on the more affectionate people of the world?

timchar 08-05-2013 08:36 PM

I'm not a big hugger by nature, as I get older I have no problem hugging the people I truly love. Imho, life is just too Damn short. I don't hug strangers or acquaintances. I do my family and my handful of best friends. You never know when your or their times up...no regrets. The hard handshake pisses me off, I'm a bowler and tennis player with carpal tunnel, on a couple of occasions some macho man tried to show me his stuff.. A firm grip is adequate, nothing more and certainly nothing less..Tim
